Operating principle: Add your favourite herbs or ground coffee to the percolator's perforated container. Place the desired amount of water into the teapot itself. As the temperature rises, the water will rise in a hollow riser from the bottom and descend, evenly and gently infusing the herbs/coffee in the perforated container. The process repeats as the teapot continues to heat. Depending on the brewing time, the strength of the beverage will vary: the longer the percolator is brewing, the stronger, more distinctly flavoured the beverage will be. The universal, recommended amount of coffee for 1 cup is 1 teaspoon.
